Rest + Reset University is a free 5-day virtual educational experience designed for Black women who are ready to unlearn exhaustion, reclaim rest, and create space for joy—without guilt.

Your Investment in Rest

$0 – It’s completely free.

No catch. No contracts. Just permission to pause.

You just need to make the time.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You don’t remember the last time you weren’t tired.

  • Everyone depends on you… but who holds you?

  • Rest feels uncomfortable, even when you have time.

  • You feel like you need a reason to slow down.

Deep down, you know you can’t keep going like this.

You’re not broken. You’re burned out.

And that ends here.

Meet Montina,

You Don’t Have to Hold It All Together Alone

I’m Montina Myers-Galloway—a licensed trauma therapist, leadership consultant, and speaker helping high-responsibility Black women reclaim their power, rest, and wholeness without guilt.

As founder of Myers-Galloway Counseling, I’ve supported 300+ women through 5,000+ therapy sessions, EMDR intensives, and healing retreats, guiding them from survival mode into self-trust and ease. Featured on TEDx, PRIDE Magazine, and PsychCentral, I combine clinical expertise with lived experience to help women break free from over-responsibility and lead lives rooted in care, boundaries, and freedom.

Rest + Reset University is a 5-day guided journey designed to help you learn, soften, reflect, and reset—mentally, emotionally, and somatically.

Through daily themes rooted in cultural truth and deep healing, you’ll start to rewrite your relationship with rest in real life, not just theory.

Here’s What You’ll Experience:

Day 1: Permission to Pause: Find belonging in rest

Why rest feels unsafe or unearned for Black women. You’ll unpack inherited beliefs and reframe rest as your right—not a luxury. You’ll stop waiting for permission and begin claiming rest as your sacred right.

Day 2: Undoing Overgiving: Choose healing over hyper-responsibility

You’ll explore the identity trap of caregiving and how emotional labor and over-functioning block your healing. You’ll recognize over-functioning as survival—not identity—and start choosing healing over hyper-responsibility.

Day 3: Your Body Has Something to Say: Reconnect with your body’s wisdom

Learn how exhaustion speaks through the nervous system. Practice somatic grounding to listen and respond with care. You’ll listen to your body with compassion and respond before burnout becomes your baseline.

Day 4: Joy Isn’t a Distraction: Let joy fuel your strategy

Reclaim joy as a healing tool—not something you have to earn. Rediscover softness, creativity, and moments that make you feel alive. You’ll give yourself permission to feel joy without guilt—and let softness become part of your strategy.

Day 5: Rest as Resistance, Not Reward: Claim rest as self-leadership

You’ll close the week with a personal Rest Declaration, affirming your sacred right to rest as leadership, healing, and legacy work.  You’ll walk away with a written Rest Declaration and a commitment to protect your peace—daily.

Each day includes:

  • A guided educational video

  • A culturally-rooted reflection prompt

  • A simple 5-minute healing practice

  • A private community thread to share and be witnessed

What You’ll Walk Away With:

  • A Rest Practice That Feels Good - Learn how to rest without feeling lazy or guilty. You’ll create a way to recharge that actually works for your life.

  • Clarity About Why You Feel So Tired - Understand why your body and mind feel so drained — and learn what you can do to start feeling better.

  • A Space Where You’re Seen - Connect with other Black women who get what it’s like to carry so much. Here, you don’t have to perform or prove anything.

  • Your Own Rest Promise - Leave with a simple, personal promise to protect your peace and take care of yourself every single day.

Is This for You?

  • You’ve always been the “strong one”—but you’re over it.

  • You crave softness, space, and stillness in your life.

  • You’ve been too tired to even figure out where to start.

  • You want more than rest—you want restoration.

Don’t wait for burnout to force you to pause. Join us for five days that bring you back to yourself. FREE for Black women ready to reclaim rest.

Registration Closes Soon!

This 5-day reset is just the beginning. If you’ve been carrying too much for too long, this is your moment to lay it down—and start something deeper.
