Montina Myers-Galloway is a licensed trauma therapist who has spent nearly a decade helping Black women dismantle the identity that keeps them depleted. 300+ clients. 5,000+ sessions. The pattern she sees most? Women who can't rest — not because they don't have time, but because they don't know who they are without the invisible weight, responsibility and obligation.

Rest + Reset University is a live, 5-day guided experience for the woman who's already doing the work — but still waking up depleted.

DAY 1 — The Mindset of a Rested Woman

The problem isn't your schedule. It's who you are trying to be for other people.

In almost 10 years of practice, I've seen the same pattern hundreds of times: women who learned early that their value was in what they carried. Growing up too fast, too much responsibility, being the "strong one" — these weren't just roles. They became your identity. And you can't rest inside an identity that requires you to perform strength to belong.

On Day 1, we name that identity. Not to stay in the story — but to finally see it clearly enough to step out of it.

DAY 2 — Boundaries That You Actually Keep

You keep relaxing your boundaries because a part of you still needs people to need you.

Here's what I've learned across more than 5,000 therapy sessions: most boundary work fails because it focuses on what you say instead of who you believe you are. You can set a boundary with your words and abandon it the moment someone's disappointment triggers your need to be needed.

On Day 2, we stop rehearsing scripts and start untangling your worth from your usefulness. Because you keep your boundaries when you know who you are.

  • How to stay in relationship without abandoning yourself

  • Why boundaries feel like rejection — and whose voice that actually is

  • The connection between over-giving and the fear of being forgotten

DAY 3 — The Language of Your Nervous System

Your body has been telling you the truth. Who you are becoming won’t let you ignore it.

Survival isn't the same as being well. You can be functioning — even thriving on paper — while your nervous system is still running emergency protocols from decades ago. But here's what most people miss: you're not just ignoring your body because you're busy. You're ignoring it because the identity you built doesn't have room for needs.

On Day 3, we interrupt the autopilot. You'll learn to read what your body has been trying to tell you — and begin building an identity that responds instead of overrides.

  • The cues your nervous system sends before depletion — and why you've been trained to dismiss them

  • How to regulate in real time without waiting for a breakdown

  • What it looks like to have a body you live in, not just push through

DAY 4 — Joy Without Permission

You know how to push through. But when's the last time you felt joy?

One of the most common things I hear from clients deep into their healing: "I don't know what I enjoy anymore." That's not burnout — that's identity loss. When you've spent years being the responsible one, joy starts to feel frivolous. Selfish. Like something for people with less on their plate.

But joy isn't the reward for finishing your healing. It's the signal that you're free. On Day 4, we reclaim it — not as self-care, but as evidence of a new identity.

  • Why joy feels unsafe — and what that reveals about the identity you've been carrying

  • How pleasure and play regulate your nervous system faster than discipline ever will

  • What it means to feel alive without earning it first

  • The difference between resting occasionally and living as a rested woman
